Interviewer's notes
Asked about tenant isolation before scaling. Good.

How a session goes
One question, start to finish.
“Smart Grid Device Control”, asked at OpenAI and Tesla, exactly as you would work it on ShowOffer.
Open the prompt
Design a Smart Grid Device Control and Telemetry Reconciliation System - Millions of EV chargers, HVAC units, and industrial loads over the public internet, where devices go offline, commands get duplicated, ACKs prove nothing, and telemetry arrives hours late. The staff-level signal is recognizing a distributed closed-loop control system — not a monitoring dashboard.
Clarify before you draw
- Create a campaign for a device population, then fan commands out asynchronously
- Deliver commands to online and offline devices without ever applying a stale one
- Use telemetry, not ACKs, to decide what physically happened
- Reconcile late telemetry into the right time window and correct earlier results
Hear what the interviewer wrote down
Red flag they would raise
You designed the command path before asking what happens when a million devices reconnect at once. Name the failure modes first, then pick the component.Session recording · written feedback within 48 h

What can I do for free?
Browse all 159 companies and search the full question bank without paying. The first question in every category at every company is free — 323 questions in total. No card required.
Where do the questions come from?
Each company page lists the coding, system design, behavioral and project-retro questions candidates report being asked there, and shows when it was last reviewed. There are 2,564 questions across 159 companies today.
Who are the coaches?
Engineers from FAANG+ companies who have interviewed candidates themselves. A mock session is a real interview rehearsal followed by direct feedback on what they'd flag in the debrief.
What's the difference between Premium and coaching?
Premium ($49/month, or $399 one-time for lifetime access) unlocks every question breakdown, the full question bank and the rest of the premium content for self-study, and saves $20 on coaching sessions. Coaching is a separate 1-on-1 session with a FAANG+ interviewer, booked as you need it.
Can I cancel Premium?
Yes. The monthly plan is billed monthly and you can cancel anytime. The lifetime plan is a single payment with no renewal.
Do I need an account to look around?
No. Company pages, question search and every free question are open to everyone. Create a free account when you want to track your progress.
